I
was born in Chengalpattu and worked in a corporate company for around 10 years.
As I was interested in Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam sir, after his demises I thought to
fulfill his Vision and Mission and motivating the youths to make his dream come
true.
§
So
I started a Trust Named Dr. Abdul
Kalam Trust for Educational & Greenery on October 2015
and started to serve the community through our trust by providing free books
and accessories to the needy and also concentrating in greenery by providing free
saplings, planting and maintaining them.
§
Our
vision is to plant 1 lakh trees per year and to give education for around 50
college students per year to complete their higher studies. As per our vision we
have around 190 branches and more than 15,000 volunteers and planted more than
4 lakh trees across Tamilnadu and educating more than 182 students to continue
their higher studies.
§
Also
constructed 20 concrete houses for the people who lost their house in “Gaja

We
are running an old age orphanage with 50 members in “ooty” Nilgiris District. (http://tiny.cc/n039bz)
§
We
are supporting a government school every month by providing RO water system, furniture’s
and accessories.
§
Also
involved in restoring lakes and ponds every weekends.

In
the past 4 years we have conducted 1200 awareness events all over Tamilnadu
& Pondicherry like (Eradication of Plastics, Road Safety, Planting Trees, Women
Safety, Eye & Blood Donate Awareness, Dengue Awareness, Saving water
sources, Saving Electricity etc..)
§
I
have been awarded Honorary Doctorate in the field of Social Work by “The Universal
Tamil University” and “Global Peace University” and also received “SEVA RATNA” award.
